100 Years in Residential Building

Three Generations in Oregon since 1909

Ward Johnston (Lynn’s grandfather) began building in Eugene, Oregon in 1909. Many homes throughout the University of Oregon area were the focus of his work.

Robert Johnston (Lynn’s father) started building homes in the late 1940s and built hundreds of homes throughout Eugene/Springfield.

Lynn Johnston started working for his father in the late 1950s, working on many of his father’s construction sites. In the 1960s and 1970s Lynn worked alongside many master carpenters and skilled tradesmen. This training developed the intricate knowledge of construction techniques Lynn’s clients appreciate today. Hands on skills are rare in today’s construction managers.

Lynn moved to Sisters in 1977 and upon his father’s retirement began building in Sisters/Black Butte Ranch. Not only building new homes, but Lynn has developed a great reputation for working on large, difficult remodel projects. The workmanship and attention to detail are Lynn’s trademark.
